"I purchased the MP3 download version of this CD. I am accustomed to MP3 and recognize that some quality can be lost during the compression--especially using a constant bit rate during complex sections. However, my impression of this recording is that quality was lost long before it experienced MP3 compression. While some tracks are vibrant, others are very lifeless. Also, it is very apparent in several of the tracks that build in volume that during the mixing and/or conversion, volume limits were exceeded and the recording suddenly hits a flat ceiling. So although there are several pleasant tracks, the end result is that instead of being relaxing, this recording is rather grating because of its many flaws. I will try to get a refund on the MP3 version and perhaps give the CD a try."
