UFF...the ultimate latin boy band!

"UFF was first spotted on Univision. Now they are debuting their album. It is proven to be the next Menudo and beyond."
Irresistible Latin pop from a talented young group

"UFF is a Venezuela-based male vocal group consisting of six teenagers. Their album "Ya Lo Ves" is a well-crafted piece of Latin pop. With a nice mix of dance songs and slower ballad-like numbers, this is a very enjoyable album. The boys--for the record, their names are Alexander, Fabio, Jeanra, Jose Luis, Marcos, and Rawy--bring an irresistible youthful energy to their performances. In my opinion, the album's only flaw is the lack of solo parts in the songs. UFF sings well as a group, but I really liked the cocky solo rap on "Brujeria" and the plaintive solo refrain on "Una Piedra en el Zapato." UFF's producers should listen to the Backstreet Boys' song "I Want it That Way" (from the album "Millennium") as an example of an effective use of multiple male voices in both solo and combination parts within a song.Other standout songs include the romantic songs "Tarde o Temprano" and "Inolvidable." An added bonus is a Spanish version of the Partridge Family classic "I Think I Love You" ("Creo que te Amo" in Spanish). Although the album is primarily in Spanish, some songs have "Spanglish" accents (especially "Brujeria" and "You Are the One").I am sure that some will be tempted to compare UFF to some other musical acts (a cross between Ricky Martin and NSync, with a dash of Hanson?). But these young men have their own unique energy, and "Ya Lo Ves" is a fine collection of songs."
