Synopsis

Album Description
Keyboardist Bob James and acoustic guitarist Earl Klugh struck gold with this session, recently reissued on CD. The formula hasn't changed much in succeeding years. Both Kgh and James are capable musicians; they demonstrated on this collection of light, innocuous melodies a high degree of professionalism. Klugh is a first-rate guitarist whose solos are concise and nicely delivered and James' Keyboard playing is good and crisp.

Wow! Some nice stuff here. Yes it's an old CD but she's a goodie. As a side note for Food Network Fans. Doc Gibbs, now famous for providing musical exclamation points on the Emeril LeGasse show is the percussionist on this CD. Gary King does a nice job on bass too.

GREAT Easy Listening, background music
10/26/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is a classic CD with easy listening jazz music. It has an upbeat sound that is great to listen to or have in background while entertaining. I really enjoy this CD and it is one of those albums that give you a good feeling, and you love to recognize in restaurants"
One of a trio of classic collaborations.

"This is the second pairing of Earl Klugh and Bob James and it is a smooth, soft ride. Sandstorm is my personal favorite, with The Falcon coming in second. Great to underscore a quiet evening at home, or to listen to on the commute home from a bad day at work to calm down. I give it my highest recommendation."
