Synopsis

Album Description
TWO BANKS OF FOUR are ROBERT GALLAGHER AKA. EARL ZINGER & DILIP HARRIS AKA. DEMUS. Zinger was a founding member of collective GALLIANO, who rode the wave of GILLES PETERSON's wonderful label TALKIN' LOUD in the '90s, and more recently the force behind the many moods of Earl Zinger, whose reggae rockers cover of BLUR's "Song Two" was an underground hit. Demus is a very respected London producer whose work includes the YOUNG DISCIPLES debut album, IG CULTURE & ZERO 7. Their 3rd album 'Junkyard Gods' cruises effortlessly through the twisted labyrinth of modern music genres from Soul to Funk over to House and Broken Beat. The emphasis is on interaction and improvisation between all musicians involved. This mix is centred by the vocals of VALERIE ETIENNE (also of Galliano).
