26 evocative gems of lingering beauty

"It's hard not to hear the best aspects of 70s guitar trio America on this lo-fi keeper ... layered strumming, gently harmonized vocals, and dream-state imagery abound. Fans of Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, and maybe even Neil Young's quieter stuff are wholeheartedly advised to check out this folkadelic masterpiece. Hopefully these very gifted songwriters will decide to make The Twin Atlas (a personal project by Lenola's drummer and a pal) an ongoing labor of love. If so, there's little doubt they will gain, and will rightly deserve, a large following."
