Synopsis

Album Description
TWILIGHT GUARDIANS wants to be seen as an excellent student of the new generation of Scandinavian Progressive heavy-metal, led by ROYAL HUNT, NIGHTWISH and TUNNELVISION. It also reminds of SHADOW GALLERY, RHAPSODY and DREAM THEATER. Their interpretation remains very personnal, and really remarkable.

CD Reviews

An Excellent Debut

(4 out of 5 stars)

"I'm still continually on a never ending search for bands to hold a candle to Blind Guardian, Rhapsody, and Dream Theater. I have found very few... Twilight Guardians is one of them that start to come close. They aren't completely original, but are not completely "wanna be copycats" either. 'Tales of the Brave' is still one heck of a debut album. Fans of Blind Guardian and Rhapsody should really enjoy Twilight Guardians. They are a great mixture or Progressive, Symphonic, Power/Speed Metal. The whole album is a very cohesive whole and the songs are pretty catchy as well. The only reason why I can't give these guys a 5 rating is because the grand masters like Rhapsody and Blind Guardian deserve the "5's". At any rate... as far as Twilght Guardian's budget on this recording and their originality that they have(in time they would surely grow just as Blind Guardian has made the hugest leaps and bounds) 'Tales of the Brave' is definately worth a listen. For anyone out there reading this, definately check out the Italian symphonic epic metal band HIGHLORD-"When the Aurora Falls" if you are still searching for mind blowing metal."
