"Turn Me On Dead Man started in 2000. They are the best band happening now in San Francisco. San Francisco was once the place of open minds and experimentation. Now it's a place of music snobbery. They are not even aware of this musical gem in their own backyard. I discovered Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom, The Gris Gris, and several other bay area bands years ago, while the local people were slow to catch on. People of San Francisco: please don't fall asleep on this one. TMODM is creating space rock right now. They are giving the most spectacular shows in Northern California. Even a hard ass like Jello Biafra, who hates anything after 1957, likes this band. It is psychedelic rock. It is very entertaining. There is a mix of Alice Cooper and Thin Lizzy with a sense of humor. Maybe there is a little Darkness thrown in for good measure. Every song is cool, heavy, and from outer space. I hear these guys give good parties. I will be taking LSD with them soon. My exclusive interview with them will be coming soon. It might be a three-part interview. I heard that they plan on playing a New Year's Eve gig on top of the tallest building in San Francisco for an audience in helicopters. These guys are destined for stadium rock. This is the best band from San Francisco since Brian Jonestown Massacre. I am making the documentary about them right now. It will win a prize at Sundance. Turn Me On Dead Man deserve a Grammy."

"Just heard 'Take a Stress Pill' on local indie station WLUW. Starts out with excerpt from 2001: A Space Oddessy, the part where Hal 'advises' Dave to relax and 'take a stress pill'. After that this song takes off and fries your speakers. I think the previous reviewer may be right. This is a band to check out."
