2009 collection from the Folk/Pop duo. Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian (AKA Turin Brakes) were friends in elementary school and decided to try out for the cathedral choir because it would perform in front of the Queen of England, which it eventually did. The two childhood friends formed a band together and would record their freewheeling jam sessions. The duo's early years were influenced by Sebadoh, Truman's Water, Prince, and The Black Crowes. After a handful of EPs, the band's debut full-length album was released worldwide in 2001, instantly become an influence to a new generation of Folk/Pop acts and helping to create the musical blueprint for a whole new generation.
