CD Reviews

Powerful human voices
Brian Kendig | Orlando, FL USA | 06/19/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Toxic Audio is a terrific up-and-coming a cappella singing group. With no assistance from musical instruments, the five singers can fill a room with harmonies and sounds - and what's more, their music is *fun*; they truly sound like they're having a terrific time making their music. Chemistry is their third CD, and by far their best to date. From great covers of 'She Blinded Me With Science' and 'Voices Carry' and 'Paperback Writer,' to their own tunes 'Easter Island Head' and 'God Must Have Spent A Little Less Time On You,' to a truly wonderful 'Mahna Mahna' which parodies the other songs on the album, Chemistry is a real treat. I'm a fan of the group because I saw them perform at Disney World while they were just getting started - now they're performing off-Broadway, and I wish them all the best!"
The most amazing group ever!!!!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you want to hear what realy musicians sound like, buy this CD! Too bad this only goes up to 5 stars because they deserve a lot more! They're off-broadway and I've seen them twice already and plan on seeing them a lot more because they are so undescribingly amazing! This CD has everything from standards such as "Autumn Leaves" to their own creations like "Tunnel Vision" and "God Must Have Spent a Little Less Time On You" which is a hysterical parody of an N'SYNC song of a similar name. These people hold ridiculously tight harmonies and their show is so amazingly hysterical and they are the real deal musically. Their CD can be found through their website which is simnply the name of the group with a dot com ending!"
Best acapella group I've heard!

"This is by far the best acapella group I've heard. Their sound is amazing, great blending of their voices. Did you guys know two of the members are married to each other? That's pretty cool. "Chemistry" deserve a grammy!"
