Tower Recordings attempt an aura of mystery to compliment the moodiness of their lo-fi Kraut-inspired drone-folk rock, but they're really just a bunch of good natured kids who met at SUNY Purchase, and would be superstars in the bizarro universe. Recorded, like their singles, so poorly that it must be intentional, this is filled with fragmentary wisps, and features many fashionably aged instruments such as Moog synth, toy effects, and plenty of echo. It's "anti" music, to be certain. If you hate modern living, but have grown comfortable nestling in your trash heap, this is the album for you. --D. Strauss
