"I have trouble describing why this album is so good, but I'll try. Basically, it comes down to a solid mix of well played music and superbly crafted lyrics. Tom has a style all his own, and has many fresh sounds throughout. I was surprised at his lyrical depth, and how the music does more than scratch the surface. His unique blend of instruments on some of the tracks really add flavor to the music. The variety in the songs is also nice. The album flows well, going from a faster song to a slower song, to a mid-tempo tune. There is not one bad song on here. The music is quite spiritual also, yet it's not preachy. I find it inspiring actually. Its just real music and lyrics from a real guy. His writing style actually reminds me a little bit of Jackson Browne, although the music isn't the same. Either way, this album is phenomenal. I'm really looking forward to another album. I love this one!"
