"Today is the Day were a great band... They were the reason I bought this cd initially. I wasnt too interested in hearing Metatron. I just figured there would be nothing interesting. I was sadly mistaken and its always a great thing when that happens. A band just takes you by surprise. This is what happened with Metatron. Their brand of metal is hard to pin down to a particular sound, but whatever they are doing, they are doing it well. I wanted to find other releases but there werent any. I owned and operated disquietude records at the time ( i still do) and I wanted to release their next record... the spider queen was unleashed.. A great album showcasing a band with unlimited potential. Their newer stuff is completely mindblowing and I cant imagine a fan of intense, original music not being into this"
