"I THINK TLC IS THE BEST GROUP IN THE WORLD. FIRST,THEY MADE US WANNA PARTY ALL NIGHT LONG WITH "NO SCRUBS",AFTER THEY GAVE US THE STRENGTH TO FIGHT OUR COMPLEXES WITH "UNPRETTY" AND NOW THEY ARE CALMING DOWN THE FLOW WITH A COOLBEAT ,"DEAR LIE" AS AWESOME AS THE OTHER! THE ADVICE I CAN GIVE IS BUY THE CD! IT'S GREAT AND T-BOZ'S VOICE SWEETS VERY WELL TO THE SONG.GOT TO GET IT!"
Dear Lie Is Really Meaningful...

"I feel that this song has a really good and deep meaning. I figured the song out only after I read the poem 'What's My Name' from T-Boz's book Thoughts. A lot of TLC fans think that T-Boz is talking to a man, which is wrong. She might be talking about a situation involving a man, but the song talks about how she lied and thought that it would help her or her situation, but now she's worse off than when she started. It also says that at first she didn't know how to fix the situation, but at the end she stopped her lies and confessed. The poem talks about how the lie says that it is your closest friend, but not by choice, and how it doesn't like its user, but its user loves it. It also talks about how people are very well warned that the outcome of a situation when a lie is used is never guaranteed to be 100% positive, maybe not even 50%."

"I think that this song has so much meaning to it. When I first heard it on 955 the beat, I realized I had a lot of connection to the song. I have this ex-crush and I just want him to go away. The problem is he's so damn nice that it's hard! THis song helped me express my anger and sorrow in a calm and unviolent way. Thanks so much TLC!"
