Album Description

Taken from the 2003 album 'Waiting for the Moon'. The EP features the title track & two tracks which are exclusive to this release. 'Now It's Over' was recorded as part of the WFTM sessions but did not make the LP & in the end & was saved for this EP. The other track, a 14 minute live instrumental version of 'Running Wild', was recorded live for WFTM in many different moods & this composite of all the versions is stunning & showcases the song in all its glory. Essential For Tindersticks Fans

"I don't usually buy EPs, but made an exception for this when I happened upon it in a favorite Carlsbad CA music store. Tindersticks is one of my favorite bands, and as I was unfamiliar with the second and third songs, I just had to have it.

My Oblivion is an essential recording for any Tindersticks fan. Not only do you get a great rendition of the title cut, there are two other very worthwhile songs that are not on other albums.

The first of them, Now It's Over,is a very doleful yet rewarding vocal cut. The last tune is an exquisite, extended (14 minutes +)instrumental that's just perfect with morning coffee.

So if you already like Tindersticks, I would advise you to pick this one up while it is still available.
