Re-recordings, still great
Music Loft | 12/09/2007
(4 out of 5 stars)

"While these are re-recordings, they're still great renditions of her own hits "Hurt", and "What's A Matter, Baby (Is It Hurting You)" and with terrific covers such as "Only You", "It's Only Make Believe", "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" and other standards, we have a wonderful cd of pop rock torch songs, or as the title says, Heartbreaking Songs. It's a winner. Good stereo sound."
My amazement

"I was like every other 16 year old that was simply captivated by that song "hurt" and wondered where a voice like that could come from. Just until recently I never knew who Timi Yuro was until I was thumbing around in Amazon. I ordered this CD and will be eternally grateful and recommend it wholeheartedly. Thanks Amazon... Jackie"
Timi Yuro Review

"Ever since I first heard Timi Yuro's All Alone Am I on the oldies station on my cable channel, it has been one of my favorites. Purchased this collection of songs to hear All Alone Am I and have also especially enjoyed Hurt, Let Me Go Lover, a cover song from of one of my favorites, Hank Snow, and It Must Be Him. Ms. Yuro is fabulous on all of these. There are some misses on this CD as well. I skip by her cover of the Platters' Only You and also Little Things Mean a Lot. Great voice though on my aforementioned favorites."
