Tom Roe | Clearwater, Florida USA | 05/18/2004 (4 out of 5 stars) "My fondest memories of Tiger & Mike Stern are from watching Tiger's Baku in the little clubs around Boston. If you were lucky enough to see him in those days, (early 80's)This CD will surely bring those great days back. However, NOTHING can replace sitting 5 feet in front of Tiger & Stern! My initial reaction to the CD was disappointment because the studio sound takes some of the edge off the music. Still... Tiger sounds as good as he always has, and it's classic Mike Stern in his earlier days. Once I got over the "clean" studio sound, I fell in love with all the old songs again. I enjoy all Tiger's work, but if you haven't bought any of his music yet, I'd go for this one FIRST!"
