"Hello-My name is Bobby and I played guitar and sang in The Thumbs. We do not receive any money for any mp3 sales. Not for sales here or on itunes. We signed a contract before the internet was even a factor and now the record label that released this record is no longer still in business and has for some reason put our material online. This means they have no overhead and will continue to make money off our art indefinitely. We have never received any type of accounting statement for records sold and despite us asking them to take things records offline they remain here. We were a small band that worked hard and I love the songs we wrote and the people we met on our tours but the truth is we never sold that many records while we were playing. I don't think that has changed a whole lot but I don't think it is right to continue to sell our work and not pay us for it. If you like the Thumbs write us directly by doing a search and we can get you copies of the music via mail order.Tthank you and take care, Bobby from the Thumbs"
