"Former GRIFTERS frontman Dave Shouse & cohorts travel the world and record in 5 different studios and it shows in the texture & shaky quality of the production. For more "fleshed out" versions of a couple of these songs (Curious State, Sylvia Rhodes) see "DEBT & DEPARTURE" but overall, 21st is a bit heavier and experimental to it's benefit. I truly miss the Grifters though. If you're not familiar with their work but like the above, then you should definitely check them out."
