A solid debut.

"Someone not familiar with These New Puritans would probably approach them with the thought of " Oh no , not another British indie band". But once you really get to know this band and their music it really grows on you. This band may seem like another mediocre indie band that's just cashing out on the indie craze of these times but there's something special about these guys , they make solid songs that aren't too commercial sounding and are catchy enough to really get into but have an extra edge that puts them in a league of their own among their peers. I highly recommend this album , the songs are brief , aggressive and well written but the album itself is solid and very balanced. You'll find this record to be one of those few records which is all around good times and you never find yourself skipping any of the songs."
