CD Reviews

THIS CD IS MASTERED FROM VINYL!
Ovi | New York | 03/23/2008

"All of the CDs from the PTG label are fakes (including this one) and are mastered from cheap vinyl and not the original source master tapes!"
One Of Thelma's BEST Albums...
Efren Sifuentes | Manhattan, NY | 01/19/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I was so happy when I heard this album (back in her MCA Records days) was being released. The import price is a little steep, but well worth it. I used to jam off of the 12" Single of "I'd Rather Spend The Bad Times With You Than Spend The Good Times With Someone New" on my public radio show back in the day. Several choice cuts here include "You Used To Hold Me So Tight," and "(I Guess) It Must Be Love." There's even an (older) bonus track called "Standing In The Light." Alot of these cuts were early Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Excellent R&B. And, yes... some 12" Single "bonus cuts" would have made this CD complete."
FINALLY ,AT LAST ON CD

"THIS IS MY FAVORITE THELMA HOUSTON ALBUM FROM 1984." FANTASY AND HEARTBREAK " LOVE THIS SONG,PLUS "YOU USED TO HOLD ME SO TIGHT" AND " I'D RATHER SPEND THE BAD TIMES WITH YOU THAN THE GOOD TIMES WITH SOMEONE NEW ", ALL THREE SONGS PRODUCED BY JIMMY JAM AND TERRY LEWIS. THIS IS A GREAT CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
