CD Reviews

One of the best albums anywhere
Dragonetti | Florida | 07/09/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Whether Gothic Metal, Industrial, Goth, or whatever genre you'd like to categorize this music- it is a master opus. With so many bands whose lyrics focus on things like hate, destruction, rebellion, and death, finding music that graces through mysteries and realities of love and magic is truly rare to find. This music can take the listener to places where chivalry and poetry still live strong, where darkness is an enigma, not a terrorizing malice. The female vocals are angelic and clear, and the music itself is hard, but melodic and heart-felt.

It can be somewhat depressing, with its somber notes and dark tones. What is said is not altogether a message of joy, but REALITY itself is not a banquet of just pleasantries. An interesting experience it is to whoever wishes to try listening to this magnificent album at night by candlelight. Fans and students of the Old English language and Latin shouldn't be disappointed by this music AT ALL.

This album "Aegis" is one of my personal favorites. I hope whoever you are reading this will enjoy it as much as I do."
