CD Reviews

Hoorah for the Vandals!
Mr. Daniel Growcott | 12/15/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The vandals are very very funny, but the music is also really good too. What it loses in being less funny than their next best album (Hitler Bad, Vandals Good) they make up for by playing such excellent music. I have advise for all you people at home: go and buy this album. Then go and buy all the other vandals albums. Then listen to them forever more."
Gotta get it!

"I'm familiar with the work of these guys ever since Peace Through Vandalism and while their sound has changed a lot over the years, I like this album the best. Good hooks, catchy lyrics, almost every song is an anthem for someone."
Fast and fun punk, makes a great record...
Doesn't Matter | New York City, NY | 12/11/2000
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I'm not a huge Vandals fan, but this is a great album. These guys are so damn funny. The songs are fast and fun. The lyrics are smart and the jokes come so fast its hard to even keep up with them.Behind the Music, Jackass, and The New You are the highlights, but every song is good. This is the type of album that you don't have to be a punk fan to enjoy because the lyrics are pretty universal. The songs are all played well and delivered as fast as the jokes. You've got to love the irreverence that bands like the Vandals are able to deliver. Great band, great songs, great album. Also for a punk album the guitar playing is pretty stand out."
