Early versions of some of the Ride The Wild Twang tracks rub shoulders with other gems such as the punchy surfer Pugsakuk, the Sandals influenced Victory at Sea, and the two surf ballads that close the set: El Rollo and Got Me A Hankerin? "I love surf music and this CD contains some classic surf sounds. I've heard that these guys are true surfers - pretty cool for East Coast Dudes and very cool to have surf music from real surfers instead of a bunch of hodad dorks. I wonder if El Rollo was written from the band's personal experience riding the waves. This wahini says this CD is primo surf!"
