"I first heard this band on a London Underground program while travelling around "The Smoke" and I was drawn to them immediately. The DJ at the time was also appropriately smitten and played the CD in its entirety, which drove the hook in me even more deeply. Quirky and poignant, heartwrenching and soul-searching at the same time, and all the while they manage to righteously rock the house. There must be an eclectic mix of influences behind this band because you can hear it all in their stuff, from the ballads to the kickass roofrattlers -- but the lyrics and the lead singer's vocals soar... "I tell you now I don't wanna hurt no one, and I ain't gonna worry about the things I haven't done, you want some lovin' baby I wanna give you some..." Maybe it was the timing, and the company, but this band's music runs deep."
