"I first heard of the Silencers on NPR in the late 1980's and quickly purchased the 3 albums that were then available; Letter to St Paul, Blues for Buddha, and Dance to the Holy Man. To this day these discs have a treasured place in my collection. They have no "bad" tracks or filler material, it is all solid musical goodness. I do not understand why they did not become a huge success here, but do yourself a favor and pick up any or all of these that you can get your hands on."
