CD Reviews

Fabulous Album
David Bishop | Mequon WI United States | 10/29/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I've waited forever to hear this on CD!!!!!!!!!

A bunch of studio musicians that played on so many pop albums including Carol King's Tapestry come together to make the most unbelievable fusion album of all time. This album is the lost gem of the seventies. Fusion with a psychedelic tinge to it that you will play over and over. Buy it play it, but get it now before it's gone! You won't regret it.

Now release the first on CD too."
Very good, but not great
Paul Gallagher | Worcester, MA United States | 08/10/2007
(4 out of 5 stars)

"In other circumstances, I'd give this 5 stars. It's just that it's not nearly as good as the first Section album, that for some reason has never been re-released. That one, featuring Michael Brecker on sax, is in my view THE best (and one of the first) "fusion" albums of the 70s, and frankly one of the best albums ever made."
Forward Motion
Dennis Battle | 12/02/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I first purchased this album when I was 18yrs old. I'm now 52 and the music is TIMELESS. Musicians such as these, along with Hendrix,Miles, and Coltrane, took music where it was supposed to go."
