"Scott Laurent and cronies have created a collection of songs best listened to on a long road trip. Enough pushing rockers to tap the steering wheel to mixed with some smooth - not whiney - ballads that speak of longing. The musicianship - without the benefit of a big studio budget - is at its best in "The Next One", "Better Off", and "Summer Road." Hammond B-3, harmonica, power-driven guitars, jumpy bass, and great harmonies are just a few of the perks to this band...and this album. If you love rock & roll that was born in a dimly lit bar, you've found your band."
