CD Reviews

Same songs, but with vocals.

"While each and every one of these song titles appears on either the first FLCL soundtrack or the second, this cd is still worth picking up. Why? Well, a lot of these songs were originallly included as instrumental tracks on the first two cds, but this third installment features vocals for every single track. Think of it as a Pillows album rather than a soundtrack."
FLCL OST Volume 3

"I think out of the three FLCL OST's, the third one is the best. The fisrt one is good but they shortened most of the songs. The second one has 5 tracks that are on this soundtrack but the thing I don't like is the drama's. The third soundtrack fetures most of the pillows best work.

Sad Sad Kiddie: Great guitar rift in the begging, even better with lyrics. It's a shame they shortened this song in the 1st soundtrack

Sleepy Head: Has an awsome bass rift in it. there is a buzzing sound on the song but thats just a setting the pillows used to make that sound. It's known as "Rumble Bass"

I Think I Can: This is one of the songs the pillows wrote just for FLCL. It's also a fan favorite. (This song is also in the second soundtrack)

Blues Drive Monster: My dad likes this song and so do I. It's a good battle song (used in the 5th episode of FLCL)

Carnival: I'd have to say, this is one of my favorites. The guitar solo in the beggining and ending is just....AWSOME!!

Come Down: I have to say I the instrumental version and the original version of this song are both good. The original version is on this soundtrack.

Carzy Sunshine: A very happy and cheerful song. In the middle it gets slow then goes back to fast pace.

Stalker: Has an awsome guitar rift pretty close to the end but all of the song is very cool.

Nighmare: Starts out kinda like a lullaby then becomes a really cool rock song.

Funny Bunny: A catchy pop song. kinda reminds me of a rainy day.

Beautiful Morning with you: Starts out very slow and soft, then gets fast then goes back to slow pace. It's the longest song on the soundtrack.

Advice: The original version with lyrics. Not the FLCL arrange one with the electric guitar solos. But still very good.

Runners high: Very happy and fast pace. Great drum solo.

Hybrid rainbow: Kinda slow then becomes fast for a few seconds.

Little Busters: A happy song and is a good song for after battles. "With the kids sing out the future. Mabey kids sing out the masters"

Last Dinosaur: The full and original version. Not the 25 second version (fetured on the 1st soundtrack) in fact 10 times better.

Ride on shooting star: The other song that the pillows wrote for FLCL. great guitar rift in the beggining. Also the Theme to FLCL."
Perfect in every way!

"What a lot of people don't know, sadly, is that most of the songs of the pillows that GAINAX used on FLCL was edited so the lyrics were no longer in it. The pillows are one of the best bands you'll ever hear, in my opinion. Every song by them is geniously great. This soundtrack contains the original versions of the songs GAINAX edited, and they're all some of the pillows bests.

Buy any pillows album you can get, you won't regret it."
