(4 out of 5 stars)

"While maybe not as good as later albums such as Loserville or In-Gadda-Da-Vegas, New Duncan Imperials (or N.D.I., as their fans might say) debut is still a fun little romp, w/23 songs clocking in at around 47 mins. It contains some of their classics, such as "motel 666", "I'm Schizophrenic (No I'm Not)", "Don't Hate Me Just Because I'm Beautiful","hamhocks", "6 pack of Love", and the crowd favorites "Velour!" and "Jagermeister". While the disc doesn't quite catch the intensity of their live shows, it still is, IMHO, a must have. New listeners would be better off buying Greatest Bits first, and if you enjoy that, buy the other 4 or 5 startnng with Loserville or Sticky. Recommended for fans of Reverend Horton Heat, the Ramones, or Mojo Nixon."
