"Even though we had been on the road for over 7 hours and we had gone through hundreds of great songs on tapes, cd, and the radio, and even though we had listened to Breakfast At Brelreck's only about a half hour into the trip, it was Summer Girl that was streaming through our heads at The Smithsonian Zoological Park. Why? Why did every phrase we say with six syllables take on the melody to Leaning Slightly Forward? Because that's what great pop songs do to you. They infect you. They crawl on you like baby mice..except stickier. And The Maggies have great songs. Philip Price writes the hits, Baby. And when the band arranges and plays them, they don't mess around. They only include what you want them to. Just the right amount of harmonies, just the right amount of toungues in cheek. My favorite track is The Dew Falls On Deborah. It's really lovely. Sweet. Beautiful.I'd recommend this here album, and any of the Maggies albums at that, to anyone fond of moving melodious pop and smart heartfelt sentiments.Thanks."
