"I'd heard that the Longing sounds like U2, which was enough for me to try them out. Their lead singer could easily be compared to Bono, or Coldplay. They're a good rock band, and their lyrics are just sooo good. Stuff like, the first track, bring healing to this land, you just don't hear anyone in Christian music doing stuff like that. It's really solid theology, and really solid rock. It is absolutely addictive, and I find myself singing these songs all the time, even though they're all new to me. If you like U2, Coldplay, Switchfoot, then buy this CD and hope The Longing is busy working on a 2nd CD!!!"
