Fans of the Skeletons/Morrells, NRBQ and Bill Kirchen would do well to check out these boys. Right from the git-go with stunning fretwork from Greg Townsend, the one-man guitar army. Check out the stunning fingerwork on "I Found My Baby (on My Lost Weekend)" and you'll hear echoes of Al Anderson and Joe Maphis mixed with a lyrical flair. Todd "The Bod" Bradley doubles ably on bass and vocals and especially shines on the trucker lament "Mile Long Mean Streak," a song that would fiti in the repretoire of Webb Wilder or Bill Kirchen. Jason Smay (who's toured with Wanda Jackson) holds down the beat with a whiplash snare and kick, keeping the songs taught and sharp.
