Delightful sixties soundtrack!

"I know I may be biased as we've just performed this play as our annual school production. I played the main part of Eric "Rubber-Legs" DeVene, the owner of the Club A-go-go. This play was the most successful in my school's history for one reason (besides me, of course!)- the music! The music is incredible. Full marks to the Heather Brothers for an incredible soundtrack. Most of the music are mock-ups and pastiches of famous hits of the sixties. The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, The Dave Clark Fives and many other famous bands' influences can be heard on this funny, vibey play soundtrack. Hi-lites include the funky Romance Wham Bam, the naughty What do you do?, the hilarious songs such as Baby I Love You,Lies, Eric's Gonna Keep Doing, Dont Touch Me and beautiful ballads rivalling the best rock songs of all time like The Long Walk Back, Twiggy, Seventeen and Never Done It, I Fancy You and Who'd be Seventeen. It truly is an incredible soundtrack. This cult play was huge in England mostly because of the music. This entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable play about the rituals of teenagers on Saturday Nights in London in the sixties delights each time and this is all because of a score of songs which are almost flawless."
