B&G Sides is a collection of music, lyrics and paintings in four parts, with each volume being performed in varying styles of Rock N' Roll by The Hard Lessons. Released serially and immediately upon completion in 2008, these pieces tell the story of a boy and girl, or rather any boy and any girl. They also tell the story of a band, as much as a photograph might. It's all in there, beginning and ending with a simple thought, sprung forth from a mind wandering around an apparently not-so-mindless activity. Sometimes it sounds like a late night party on a school night. Sometimes it sounds like the morning after. You get the idea.
