Modern compositional concepts and intensity of rhythm: that is what one can expect from this difficult to define group. High caliber musicianship, and a vast array of contorted theoretical concepts abound. Not technical for the sake of being technical, but extremely musical for the sake of transcending normality. The Fractured Dimension is made up of Alex Arellano on drums/percussion, Jerry Twyford on bass, and Jimmy Pitts on keyboards and piano. Ron Jarzombek, Marcel Coenen, Mikhal Caldwell, Tom "Fountainhead" Geldschlaeger, Aaron Roten (Super String Theory), Bill Bruce (ex-Shotgun Messiah), Brev Sullivan, and Brad Hull (Soblivios, ex-Forced Entry) will all be featured on guitar, along with Jim Shannon (trumpet), Joe Deninzon (violin), and Joshua Thomson (sax)--so expect some serious firepower to be unleashed. With their debut album, Towards the Mysterium, The Fractured Dimension unravel the boundaries between progressive rock and metal, jazz fusion, world music, and the avant garde, as they set their sites on a music belonging to the future.
