Introduced ME to Swing!

"I...think I have an idea why this cd is "out of stock": IT'S TOO GOOD FOR ITS OWN SAKE! It is simply GREAT, the best of "then" (I checked with an original Jimmy Dorsey fan, and HE said, "Yup, that's it!") and "now" - listening to the gorgeous Carole Taran do a "duet rap" with original Dorsey band member, Trumpeter Lee Castle, on the last track, "Gimmie Jimmy," is simply beyond description...I was going to tell you what she says, but why spoil THAT for you? And in addition, the Lady has a LOVELY voice. Like I said in the title, this CD introduced me to "Swing Music" - and as a rock and roller from the sixties, "Dorsey Then And Now" made me - at least - a neophyte Swing FAN!"
