The Cornell Hurd Band cover 18 songs by the sadly under-appreciated country pianist and singer Moon Mullican, who died in 1967. Hailing from South Austin, Texas, the band plays a wild mix of western swing, Texas honky tonk and rockabilly. Songs include: Cherokee Boogie, I'll Sail My Ship Alone, Seven Nights To Rock, Pipeliner's Blues, Don't Ever Take My Picture Down and 13 more classic, or should be classic, Mullican songs.

"Maybe the best album, as tough as selecting the best beer form Sierra Nevada, by the best band in the land, bar none. If this doesn't make you feel good you may already be dead. No band puts more into their recordings than these guys/gals. Also the last (to date) recording of the guitar genius of Paul Skelton who sadly passed away earlier this year. This album, and all of CHB's others are musts for anyone who loves Western Swing, Country, Rockabilly, and just great toe-tapping tunes. Not a bad cut on this disc."
