Synopsis

Product Description
Their sophomore full-length originates from home - the longing to get there and all that comes from being there. Each song is a maturation from the band's debut. The familiar catchy melodies are still there, as are the sublime harmonies and wry guitars, but "Now Or Heaven" is infused with a deeper, more serious perspective of the world.

CD Reviews

Great follow-up

"Yet another winner from Merge Records and another great album from these guys. Definitely more influence from Big Star, Teenage Fanclub, Spoon, and earlier Wilco - actually, on this LP, they might be taking tips from some of the more experimental Wilco stuff, ala "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot".

Either way, this is a great record for fans of the aforementioned bands. I liked their first record a lot and while this one seemed a bit blander on the first listen through, it was improved vastly by 4-5 listens all the way through. I am eagerly anticipating seeing them open up for A.C. Newman this spring. GREAT ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!"
Great new find!

"I stumbled upon these guys after hearing Auctioneer and was blown away by the rest of their album. This is a great listen from start to finish, just press play and enjoy. Music is upbeat and fun to listen to. I would highly recommend picking up the entire album."
