As a former country radio DJ, gagging through the mid to late 90's as country music went pop. I find the Boxmasters to be a refreshing "country" sound, full of toe tapping music. I had a program director tell me, that when Mark Chesnutt or someone like him relase a new single, that is was "too country" for country radio. Hearing bands like the Boxmasters, Prairie Oyster, The Domino Kings,The Derailers and singers like Kevin Fowler, Hank III and Aaron Watson, renews my faith that true country music is still alive. Avoid the radio with their "glamour stars" and go for the real thing, where it matters, coming out of your IPOD, car stereo etc. The Boxmasters kick!!!
