"Mitzi Dodge is one impressive lady. She's as likely to knock you over with her personality as with her array of musical talents: writer, guitarist, singer. On BOYSTYLE she gets to do all that and probably more. This is a great collection of rock & roll songs full of high energy, deep emotions and a variety of moods. As bassist for The Friggs (from Oct'98 on) she charged that band up with her playing, her presence and a ever-growing list of new songs. Somehow that hardly prepared me for this! With Palmyra Delran (who's gone from lead guitar back to drums, as she had years before in Pink Slip Daddy) and "The Lovely And Talented Betsy Todd" (bass & vocals), The Booty Olympics have created an album I can only describe as MESMERIZING. I've been playing it almost EVERY DAY-- sometimes TWICE a day-- since I got my copy! WOW!!!!! Last time I can recall a thing like that happening was with The Friggs' ROCK CANDY-- and while BOYSTYLE isn't as loaded up with "bad attitude", it's every bit as fun!"
