"I stumbled upon this band at amoeba records and decided to buy it based upon their artwork. I was very fortunate to have picked out such a great album. It reminds me very much of Tom Waits's stuff from the 1980s. But it has a very distinct french sound and feel to it. Lots of eclectic instrumentation and diverse vocals, some songs are rock, some are french folk (NOT to be confused with US folk acts like John Denver or James Taylor!), there's even a ska song or two. Most of the lyrics are in french, but some are in english. Of course, the artwork equals the music in its own right. Instead of a jewel case, it comes in a hardcover book with full color pages and interesting illustrations. I wish all cds came in packaging like this. A very interesting and enjoyable album, definitely worth buying."
