Surely a life-changing album

The ferocious beast that is Learning To Let Go has many faces. We find them aching sorrowfully on such tracks as Shapeshifter, Petrol Hours, Midnight Sun and the masterful, all-out rocker Lost October. We also find trad-indie streetwise sassiness on Bonnie and to an extent on Beneath the Belt.The passion of the album is undeniable: lead singer Gavin Goodwin reaches his pained climax of screaming on White Gold Way, Beneath the Belt and the furious, epic closer Deliverance, which finishes with the simple, yet beautiful statement 'gotta let go, gotta learn to let go, gotta let love grow'. That is the essence of the album.This is more than just music: it is a message to those who have lost hope. I won't tell you to buy this album, because you've never heard the band and will ignore me.
