CD Reviews

Ten Years After ...Reborn!!!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Wow this "Now" CD blew my mind. Where did this guy Joe Gooch come from...he's a monster guitarist...and a more than worthy replacement for Alvin Lee. This is the best all around Ten Years After CD since "Recorded Live". It's full of energy & excitement that's been missing so long from Ten Years After albums. There isn't a bad tune on the whole CD...the band never sounded so loud and proud. This should be an essential purchase for anybody who's into smokin' classic rock of the blues based variety. A new classic is born!!!!"
False Advertising.

"An album labeled "Ten Years After" that doesn't have Alvin Lee, the heart of TYA, is false advertising. Though it's a decent CD, after I bought the album and found out the truth, I felt cheated. I'm a big "Alvin Lee" fan. I ripped the two Alvin Lee classics they stuck at the end, and burned them onto the end of a "REAL" TYA CD, and then sold this CD to a used CD store. If you like TYA, or just Alvin Lee solo, buy any other TYA CD than this one. "A Space in Time," was of course their best, and my most recommended. But ANYTHING with Alvin Lee is better."
