"This Jon Heisman/Mark Clarke Colloseum offshoot is notable for the lead guitar of Ollie Halsall and Alan Holdsworth. Halsall is one of the great unsung guitar heroes (ex-Patto) who died much too young. Holdsworth is simply one of the greatest guitarists in the world. This is from 1972 and Holdsworth is much more rock influenced here, although his legato style is taking shape. Tremendous rock guitar from both players, this anthology feat. the 2 studio records plus about 6 live BBC recordings never before released (only on boots before). If you are a prog metal guitar fan, it doesn't get any better than this! Essential"
