"Teena Marie is my favorite female artist of all time and this CD is two of her best earlier albums put together on one CD. This CD is great to have as far as convenience goes because you don't have to switch back and forth between two discs. You just put in this one disc and you're good to go. The only down point for this CD is that some of the songs are edited to fit two albums on one CD. That is the reason why I gave this CD a 4 star rating intead of 5 stars."

""Irons In The Fire" and "It Must Be Magic" were Teena Marie's most successful Motown releases. Her diversity as an artist is all too evident as she tries everything from Disco ("It Must Be Magic", "I Need Your Loving") to Soul ballads ("Young Love", "Irons In The Fire", "Portuguese Love") to Jazz ("Tune In Tomorrow", "You Make Love Like Springtime") and even includes a tribute to John Lennon ("Revolution"). While neither of these albums spawned a major Pop hit they foreshadow Teena's accomplishments on albums like "Robbery" and "Starchild"."
