CD Reviews

Another must have

"being introduced to the teen idols after purchasing "four on the floor" (comp/cd), i bought "full leather jacket" and am now in love with the melodic fast paced 50's sounding punk. it's about time four talented punk rockers got together and put some thought behind thier lyrics and music. this really is one of those cd's you have to force yourself to stop listening to but soon again find it back in your stereo."
Ace Payne approves too!

"The little icon on the back of the disc states that it is "Ben Weasel Approved". Well, I can say without a doubt that it is 100% approved by yours truly as well. 14 blasts of pure poppy punk perfection! A great live act as well. If the Teen Idols are coming to your town you would be foolish to miss 'em. If you like fast, catchy-as-heck punk rock, then you will surely join Ben and I in approving this disc!"
Fun

"I don't like buying party records a whole lot. It actually makes me mad when bands say "we just want to have fun". I've heard a lot of sucky bands that try to go the fun route, they make silly nursery rhymes (*cough* The Vandals) that don't really mean a whole lot to anyone. Then I pick this up, there isn't way too much intellectually here, but this is one album that I can listen to and feel the good times. This album is great for singing along with and just dancin' to you know. This could be a party album that I would endorse. Sometimes it's alright to relax with a nopretensious band that doesn't have a front and doesn't act they are making music that is "amazing" or "breath taking." They aren't in the business of crafting a dreamy or breath taking score, they just want to rock. And God bless em' rock and roll children all you want. I haven't heard anything past this I heard they lost Heather in thier new album so I'm not even going to consider picking that one up. The female vocals do a lot for me, maybe the only reason I like this over thier contemporaries."
