(5 out of 5 stars)

"Love Ted Leonard - I have had this Album for well over a year now and it receives regular airplay on my program on Community Radio in Brisbane, Australia. I am astounded no one else (particulary from the USA and more specifically California) has not reviewed this CD already. Ted of course is front man for the band "Enchant" that we (prog fans) are all eagerly awaiting another release - being worked on as this Review goes to print in December 2009, according to a recent Note from Ed Platt on their website - [...].

This solo CD from Ted is brilliant. Ted is a committed christian and of course that influence or aspect is reflected in many of the songs. If you are not that way inclined, who cares (except God of course...) Ted is an incredible musician and what a vocalist - likened in some ways to the legendary Steve Walsh of Kansas - a band (among many others) that has had enormous influence on Ted's music in and out of Enchant. Ted is also a most accomplished guitarist (including Bass) and general all-round keyboardist..... Not taking anything away from these instruments, it is Ted's vocal work that is his trademark and to be admired - not forgetting his astounding song-writing prowess.

A sensational acoustic version of his "Hold The Wind" off Enchant's Tug Of War (their most recent studio Album 2003) is on this Album along with other tunes which display incredible musicianship - not just from Ted but helped out by guest musicians the likes of Nick D'Virgilio, Sean Flanegan, Kirt Shearer and the entire Rolling Hills congregation.

The CD stands apart from Ted's work with both "Enchant" and his other project "Thought Chamber" - it is simply Ted Leonard expressing his extraordinary talent and sharing his feelings about some of the issues of the world through his faith - check out "In The Name Of God". Incredible tune...

Do yourself a favour and get the Album and add to your collection - file under "just great music..." however, it should be placed with your "Enchant" stuff... While we await their next effort, continue to be enchanted with Ted Leonard's "Way Home".
