Album Description

Charity single off the Canadian alternative act's 2001 album, 'The Interzone Mantras'. Two non-LP tracks, 'Soul Breaking' (Radio Edit) & 'Leaning On Love'. A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of this CD Single will go towards the White Ribbon Campaign (an organization dedicated to ending violence against women) & the Morty Frank Memorial Fund (who died during the attacks on the World Trade Center).

"Both songs on the single are emotional songs which were motivated by tragic circumstances. "Soulbreaking" was inspired by a letter from an abused girl. While "Leaning On Love" is an acoustic song from Jeff Martin that was written after the death of a friend in the World Trade Centre. Consequently, each is a powerful and moving piece. Overall the single doesn't offer much new ("Soulbreaking" is the radio edit of a track on "The Interzone Mantras"), but proceeds are destine for charity, so it is a good addition for a fan of "The Tea Party"."
