Telarc shows how to get dynamics right,
Val McOmber | Northern CA, | 03/10/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"One of the most stirring albums I have ever heard.
Telarc pioneered the digital recording and wide dynamic range music.
There are a great many challenges to getting music recorded that has wide dynamic (loud to soft) range. Many end up compressing on the top or losing the soft. Telarc chose these sets and orchestras (their first 1812 also part of this effort) of music to prove and improve the technique. The results are simply one of the most stimulating combinations and thrilling "music-to-break-your-lease" example available.
