"The Tantra Monters, though now broken up, were one of my favorite ska bands of the day. Their Hawaiian influence took their ska and pushed it up a notch making it a gret example of Ska for new listeners. The album is very original and I'm saddened that this group is no long around."

"I lived in Hawaii for 3 years via military brat. Hawaii deffinently opened my mind to a new kind of music. Fun, soulfull, not quite so wholesome music. One of those incredibel music experinces is attributed to the Tantra Mosters. I never knew that such expressive music exsisted. Tantra Monsters is not one of those bands that you have to listen to a coupel of times to like, they mesmorize you from the get go! "Traffic" for instance grooves you from begining to end, and they toatally keep you going through out the CD. My personal favorites are "Working Man" and "Beans&Rice". If your tierd of the same three guitar riffs than I suggest Tantra Monsters. They are an origanal, talented band, which is paveing the way for NEW SKA!"
